First Comes LOVE, Then Comes Marriage, Then Comes….

It has been a looooooong time!!! As ALWAYS, I hope all is Blessed and FAB with each of you! So much has taken place since my last post. By the title, I am certain you were able to put the puzzle together….God blessed me with the opportunity to experience pregnancy. What a surprise that was. I  My husband and I were definitely not expecting the news that a baby was on the way. Personally, I did not see that until YEARS down the road. That is definitely the price you pay when you have sex. lol

When I found out that I was pregnant, I definitely went through a state of denial and shock. Of course, I quickly had to get over it because there was no turning back. I was definitely going to be someone’s mother! At that very moment, reality set in that life would never be the same.

My pregnancy was a blessing. I could not have asked for a better pregnancy considering that pregnancy will never be free of discomfort. I never experienced morning sickness. During my pregnancy, I experienced sickness in the form of vomiting twice. The first time was after I had lunch that consisted of Spaghetti and a strawberry fanta. During that time, I was at work and had not informed anyone that I was with child. As I think back on that day, I laugh becuase I was praying, while trying to vomit quietly, that no one heard me releasing my lunch! The second time was after my husband and I ate at a Jamaican Restaurant. Man, I was so excited but the food definitely did not agree with me and the baby.

Another interesting experience was being able to eat ANYTHING I wanted. I never craved a certain food nor did smells affect me. In the last trimester, I suffered from pelvic pain. It hurt to walk and lie down. I could not turn over in the bed without my pelvic bones popping. It was so intense that my husband had to help me into the bed most of the time because I could barely lift my legs. 😦     Besides the obvious growing belly, I only dealt with slight discoloration of skin on my neck and lower body.

One thing that I did not live without during my pregnancy was BIO OIL or as my husband calls it, African Oil smh. As soon as I found out that I was with child, I began using it. I did not have one stretch mark! BIO OIL  can be found at your local Walmart or Drug store such as Walgreens. You will NOT regret this purchase!3c590ffd-df2c-499e-80ea-912c32b82871
