Yes to Wide Legs!

Hope your Hump Day has been FAB!

If you know anything about me or have kept up with my blog, you may have discovered that I am sold on most things that offer versatility.  Wide Leg pants fall into that category because they are indeed versatile. You can dress them up or down.  In addition to the versatility, it also provides a woman with a versatile fit, including its ability to accentuate legs by making a them appear long and lean or accentuating the already long legs.  Wide Leg Pants also accentuates the woman’s curves in a subtle manner and/or camouflages the mid section.

The wide Leg Pant can be paired perfectly with a fitted top, Crop Top, Or over sized shirt, whether it be casual or dressy, It is a GO! We can’t talk about shirts and pants without discussing shoes. Most times, Wide leg trousers are long so the ability to wear flats without the hem dragging the floor/ground is rare. Most times, one will have to hem the pants or wear heels of some kind.

Stilettos are great to wear with wide leg pants. However, from personal experience, it is easy to get your heel caught in the seam. It was all bad for me one day while going down stairs at church. I was almost on my face smh. I can laugh now but then it was NOT funny. It did not deter me from rockin’ them though 🙂 Platforms or Wedges are another option that offers more stability and comfort while allowing you to be fly!

When you are wearing wide Leg Pants with a round, boat, or square neck top, try pairing a bold chunky necklace to jazz it up a bit…You CAN’T Lose! 🙂

  1. Those wide legs were definitely the thing to wear 2013. Do you feel they could be worn today?

    • Joí Iman says:

Most definitely. A wide leg can always be worn by those comfortable enough to opt for a pair of pants that is not intended to show EVERY curve. I Have a pair that I wear to work… #love
