The Beauty Of Imperfections and Weaknesses

It is so easy for us to get discouraged as a result of self assessments that lead to the daunting realizations of who we are not, what we cannot do, and what we lack. The  beauty of these weaknesses that we all possess is that God is the one being who appreciates our shortcomings. He takes delight in closing the gaps when we fall short. 2 Corinthians 12 reminds us that we should be proud about our weaknesses, delighting in insults, hardships, persecutions, and difficulties so that Christ’s power can rest on us.

God often chooses us to accomplish His most important tasks despite our imperfections, not because of our speaking abilities, looks, or fitness for the task. God’s strength is best seen in our weakness.
