Lucy Blu(e)

Hey Loves,

As I mentioned on Monday, My friend Toya and I traveled to Nashville, TN to visit my friend, Shanta. I haven’t seen them in Years!!! I had a BLAST from beginning to end!! Saturday was spent laughing and hunting for an outfit for Shanta. I love styling and revamping wardrobes but that experience about made me sweat smh. I don’t break and I am determined even if the client isn’t. 🙂 All along her outfit was in her closet. She looked good if I don’t say so myself.

On Saturday night, we attended a Birthday Party at a lounge, Lucy Blu. If you haven’t been there, you must see what it’s about. I told yall that I LOVE to dance and I did just that. I was on the dance floor as soon as they dropped the first beat to the first song, The Wobble, and I didn’t stop dancing until 30 min before we left. If you don’t know, I am something like the line dance queen. I am one of the first on the floor when a song comes on. I know every dance that I have come across and if I don’t, you better believe that I am about to snatch someone up to be my personal instructor (Yes, I snatches people up :-)…while on the dance floor). I did learn a new line dance and I can’t wait to Get It and Jig on somebody’s dance floor. Lucy Blu offered a great atmosphere and I enjoyed every bit that she had to offer. Thanks Lucy Girl! 🙂

Before we departed to go our separate ways, we stopped at Fridays. I had not been there in ages! The next time you are near a Fridays, I suggest you drop in and try their Cajun Chicken and Shrimp Pasta. OMG! I don’t even eat chicken in public places (I know yall are giving this post the side eye lol. For some reason, the chicken that restaurants use looks disgusting! If it’s not fried or home cooked, I don’t mess with it!) Clearly, there is always an exception cause I murdered this dish!

This sushi was interestingly good BUT it was not made like any other roll I have had. Honestly, I prefer the make that I am familiar with. BTW, this is the spicy Tuna and Super Crunch.

I hated to leave. We had many laughs. I mean as soon as we got in the same room it was on!

These two ladies encourage me daily! I am so thankful! We may not see each other often or actually talk on the phone but GROUP ME is our life line! lol
