Something like a Rebel

Hey Loves,

I hope your VALENTINE’S Day was filled with LOVE for self and others. As for me, I spent Valentines day with my children from work. We went to see Shrek The Musical….Fun Times and a YAY lol. Is this really what my life has come to?? smh On a non-sarcastic note,  It was just fine because I’ll go above and beyond for my babies. So, they were my Valentine. Also, I was blessed with people who thought enough of me to send goodies my way. My Beau on the other hand had to love on me from afar…nothing new. Long Distance SUCKS!! I mean that with every ounce of emotion :-). Hopefully, that will change soon.

On another note, I am something like a rebel. Just because it is Valentine’s Day does not mean that it is mandatory for every woman on earth to wear pink and/or red. These Pink&Red V-day outfit posts patiently waiting in my inbox made me want to scream! Instead, I just simply returned a blank stare. This is by no means a shot at anyone who wore their carefully selected Pink and/or Red color combo outfits for Valentine’s Day. Again, I am just something like a rebel. Instead, I decided to go against the grain. My mentality is like Jeezy…”I’m in the all white party wearing all black.” No, I don’t crave attention. That is not my style. In some aspects of this life that I have been blessed with, I live in my own world, doing my own thing thang. 🙂

This V-Day, I decided to go with BLACK, LEOPARD, and BLUE….Perfect!

Hair Joí Iman

This beautiful arrangement includes an IOU and it better be SOON (In my sweet Southern Belle accent) 🙂

1 Corinthians 13:4-7                                                                                                                   Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
